Project Description

Camille

Music, Lyrics, and Book by Julia Gregory
Additional Scenes by Renato R. Biribin, Jr.

Camille, a stunning but sickly French courtesan, discovers the true meaning of love when she meets Armand, a passionate admirer who is determined to take her away from Parisian excess and nurture her back to health. The tragic story of Camille preaches the virtues of unconditional love and redemption.

Camille has had a workshop production in NYC starring Tony-Award nominee Christiane Noll.

Known for its romantic, melodic and lyrical compositions, Camille is a treat for audiences that yearn for the traditional sound of American Musical Theater. Though the project is ‘scale-able’ it sounds best with a full orchestra and ensemble.
